For customers with XG Series hardware appliances, March 31, 2024, will be the final opportunity to purchase any 1-year renewal SKUs. Any remaining monthly SKUs (11-month, 10-month, etc.) will still be available as we count down to the end of life (EOL) on March 31, 2025, but no term should extend beyond that date.

Sophos Firewall OS v20 is currently planned to be the last major release that will support XG Series hardware models (v20 maintenance releases will include support).
The first early notice email will go out to all XG customers (and associated partners) this week. If you’re a Sophos partner who has sold XG appliances that are still in use and do not receive our email, please check your email/opt-out settings and ensure that you add Sophos to your white-listed senders.

It offers up to 99% discount on XGS hardware when purchased with a minimum 3-year subscription term for Xstream Protection (model exclusions may apply).
