Sophos sweeps the Security-Insider 2025 IT Awards

Nominated in three categories and winning three awards – Sophos was once again the most successful company this year at the Reader’s Choice Awards in the field of IT security, presented by Vogel IT-Verlag. The prizes are particularly valuable, as they are determined by a reader vote, in which 75,000 votes were cast across the publisher’s various portals in 2025.

The editorial shortlists ensured that up to ten providers were eligible for selection in each category – companies that made a name for themselves between 2024 and 2025 through innovations, strategic decisions, or their market position. Sophos thus won in the “Enterprise Network Firewalls” and “Security Awareness” categories, receiving the Platinum Award in each. The Gold Reader’s Choice Award was also won in the “Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP)” category.

The celebratory highlight of the 2025 awards ceremony was the evening gala at the venerable Maximilian’s Hotel in Augsburg, where the ICT industry gathered for the awards ceremony. On-site, the editors-in-chief of the insider portals presented the silver, gold, and platinum awards to the winners in all categories.
