We want to make sure you have the skills you need as a Sophos Partner to grow your business and secure a healthy customer base. Our sales and technical certifications are designed to do just that. Our certification paths will help you climb the Sophos Partner Program ladder, gaining more rewards as you go.<\/p>\n

In a nutshell<\/h2>\n

To remain compliant with our partner program and to secure your margins, please:<\/p>\n

  1. Take the new Selling Sophos MDR and Cybersecurity as a Service course <\/strong>click here<\/a> <\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Extend expiring certifications with Delta courses <\/strong>click here<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n

    Yearly compliance audits<\/h2>\n

    On\u00a0March 31, 2023<\/strong>, we will conduct our yearly compliance audit. This will determine the partner tier and earned technical accreditations of all our partners for the following year.<\/p>\n

    It is important that you meet revenue and certification requirements as detailed in the\u00a0Sophos Partner Program Guide<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0by March 31, 2023<\/strong>. This way, you can maintain or even improve your partner tier as well as your\u00a0margins<\/strong>\u00a0for the next compliance period (April 1, 2023 \u2013 March 31, 2024).<\/p>\n

    Access the Sophos Partner Portal to view your\u00a0year-to-date compliance status<\/strong><\/a>. This page is only accessible for partner portal administrators.<\/p>\n

    Throughout the year, partners who qualify for a higher partner tier or a new accreditation by the 1st of a month will be promoted on the 15th of the same month.<\/p>\n

    Certification requirements<\/h2>\n

    Please consult the\u00a0Sophos Partner Certification Path<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for certification requirements for each partner tier and the steps required to achieve them.<\/p>\n

    Effective January 5, 2023, we have updated our partner program requirements to include a minimum of one Selling MDR and Cybersecurity as a Service Certification per partner to qualify for our partner program tiers. You can take the certification anytime<\/a><\/strong>. For your convenience, we additionally offer guided courses in which you will be able to ask our trainer all your questions and take the exam in a group, supported by our trainer. Read more about our free of charge, trainer-lead certification courses here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Note that Sophos certifications are valid for two years after course release.\u00a0Expired certifications may put your partner program compliance at risk<\/strong>. Make sure to extend expiring certifications with delta courses. These only require two hours to complete.<\/p>\n

    Certification lifecycle<\/h2>\n

    The\u00a0certification lifecycle page<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0summarizes all active and expired certifications, and includes links to delta courses that will help you keep your certification fresh.<\/p>\n

    Your certifications<\/h2>\n

    You can view\u00a0certifications held by your organization and the certified individuals<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on the Sophos Partner Portal.<\/p>\n

    Sophos Partner Portal Administrators receive monthly email updates detailing the compliance status of your organization, plus upcoming certification expirations.<\/p>\n

    Your accreditations<\/h2>\n

    Accreditations demonstrate your area of expertise, ensure preferred treatment with new product launches, and make certain you are listed on the Sophos Partner Locator where customers go to find a reseller. Accredited partners need to hold a defined set of certifications which is specified\u00a0here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
