We previously informed you about important changes for Sophos UTM (SG) that will be introduced in the coming months to help you plan the product transition with your customers, including:
- A price increase of 20% for SG/UTM SKUs from June 1, 2025, and
- The final renewal date of Dec 31, 2025
We can now confirm a final order date of April 30, 2025, for all terms of less than six months. This is shown in the latest price list 2025-1.0 which was released in most regions on April 4, 2025 (slightly later in DACH).
What about the 3-month SKU for SG hardware subscriptions?
If you notice that the 3-month SKUs for SG hardware subscriptions do not have a last order date, no, you haven’t discovered a loophole or an error. We’re keeping those 3-month SKUs for exclusive use within our SG Migration promo to give an extra 3 months to customers when they upgrade to the XGS Series. This will provide extra time on the SG that will run in parallel to the term of the customer’s new XGS Series.
You’ll hear more about this bonus for SG customers before it’s introduced, which is expected to be in the May 2025 timeframe (to be confirmed).
We will closely monitor all use of the 3-month SKUs and reserve the right to cancel any quote or order that incorrectly uses that term after May 1, 2025.
