Many former Fortinet customers and partners are switching to Sophos Firewall to take advantage of the opportunity to consolidate, simplify and save on their cybersecurity. They love Sophos Central, Synchronized Security, and our commitment to Secure by Design principles, as well as the tremendous value they get with a Sophos network security solution.
We are pleased to announce we are making the switch from Fortinet to Sophos Firewall easier than ever with a new Fortinet Migration Assistant. This adds to the existing support for migrating SonicWall configurations to Sophos Firewall.
You get:
- Support for migrating to XGS Series as well as software and virtual deployments
- Support for Sophos Firewall version 21.0 (and later)
- Supports backups from Fortinet 6.x and 7.x with single VDOM (and SonicWall 6.5.x and 7.x)
- Supports selective configuration export
This Migration Assistant will migrate following entities for Fortinet:
- Interfaces
- Address Objects (Hosts)

The Migration Assistant for SonicWall supports a few additional items:
- Interfaces
- Address Objects (Hosts)
