However, only 12.95W is assured to be available at the powered device as some power is dissipated in the cable as overhead.<\/p>\n<p><strong>802.3at = PoE+ (e.g., for APX 530, 740 and 320X)<br \/>\n<\/strong>The IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) standard supports up to 30W of power on the ports (25.5W after dissipation), allowing devices that require more than 15.4W to power on when connected to the PoE+ ports.<\/p>\n<p>Note: A PoE+ (802.3at) injector will also support PoE (802.3af), so if you\u2019re not sure, take the PoE+ injector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Due to a change in the certification requirements, we are introducing a new 802.3at PoE+ injector which also comes with 2.5G support, making it more suitable for many future Wi-Fi 6 deployments.
