With just three months remaining before Sophos UTM (SG) reaches end of life (EOL) on June 30, 2026, there is limited time remaining to complete all customer migrations.

To recognize the significant effort that many partners have already invested in migrating UTM customers, our final offer benefits both you and your customers by providing more time and flexibility to complete the remaining migrations.

More time to migrate—at no extra cost

Between April 1 and June 30, 2026, we’re offering up to 6 months of extra term at no additional cost. You can receive the extra term when you place an order to upgrade a Sophos UTM customer to Sophos Firewall (SFOS). All orders must use one of the promo codes listed below.

Benefit: The extra term provides a license overlap, giving both you and your customers more flexibility to plan and complete the migration, while ensuring the order still comes in before the EOL.

This offer does not change the EOL date. It simply unlocks exclusive access to extended support while both firewalls run in parallel.

How this offer works

This offer uses the same process as the previous license overlap.

1. Create the quote

  • Create a renewal transition quote, and add all Sophos Firewall products first.
  • Add the UTM subscription as an additional line item
  • Adjust the end date so the overlap term is no more than 6 months and does not extend beyond December 31, 2026.
  • Save the quote before you add the promo code.

 Note: “Amend and extend” transactions with a custom start date are NOT supported.

 

2. Add one valid promo code and save to apply the discounts

The following promo codes qualify for the 100% UTM overlap discount:

  • SG_XGS_REFRESH_GLOBAL (minimum 3-year term) OR
  • XGS_REFRESH_1Y_GLOBAL (minimum 1-year term) OR
  • UTMSW_REFRESH_3M_GLOBAL (SW/virtual à SW/virtual, min. 1-year term)

 

3. Activate the license to benefit from a longer migration window

  • Once the order has been processed, the non-renewable license can be downloaded from MyUTM. Applying it gives you additional time to migrate while maintaining customer protection.

The promo flyers can be downloaded from the Partner Portal from early April. Some translations may take longer to complete, so please check the English flyer if your local language is not yet available.

When will the promo changes be available for quoting on April 1?
The promo codes will be updated during Central European business hours.

Can I use this offer for an amend and extend transaction with a custom start date?
No. The adjustments made for this in our system do not support amend and extend.
However, you can still benefit from all other discounts in our 1-year and 3-year promotions.

Can I order the extra term for customers who have already migrated?
This offer is only available in combination with migration orders that are processed between April and June 30, 2026.

Can I order the extra term separately?
No. The use of the active UTM terms is restricted to migration orders using a promo code only.

Can I stack multiple terms to get a longer UTM extension?
No. The maximum extension for any customer is 6 months. No extension may extend beyond December 31, 2026.
For example, if the UTM license expires on May 15, the maximum available extension is to November 15, 2026.

Will the extra term be automatically added to the quote/order?
No, you must manually add the required UTM subscriptions as extra line items to the quote and adjust the end date accordingly.

Can I add more than one UTM subscription, e.g., Network and Webserver?
Yes, you can add separate line items for each UTM subscription that the customer currently owns.

I have an existing, valid quote with a promo code not listed above. Can I still get the extra term?
No, this offer is only valid in combination with the promo codes mentioned above.

Will you accept orders on June 30, 2026?
The promo end date reflects the final date on which Sophos can process the order. To ensure your orders are processed before the promo code expires, we recommend submitting them at least one week before June 30, 2026.

Will customers who get the extra term have full support, including RMA?
The extra term provides extended support at the same level that the customer has today.

Are you extending support for all other UTM customers?
No. The extended term and support are exclusively available in combination with this final EOL offer.
