We will be retiring the legacy Sophos Ideas portal (https://ideas.sophos.com) on July 26, 2022.
As development processes and the available tools have changed significantly over the past years, the Sophos Ideas portal lacks the tracking capabilities and integration that we now need. In its place, we are introducing a new and more modern feature request process which allows us to capture feature requests and ideas directly in our existing Product Management planning tools.
The new improved process lets us track and manage ideas more efficiently, connecting feature requests to customer accounts and opportunities. Of course, customers can also discuss and comment on ideas in the existing user communities at https://community.sophos.com.
The ideas from you and your customers have been the cornerstone of our common success over recent years, helping us to grow our customer base considerably.
All ideas captured in the old portal will be retained and reviewed by the product teams for possible future consideration.
How can you and your customers submit a feature request?
Partners can forward their input to their local Sophos sales representative, who can connect to any sales engineer to enter the request directly in our systems.
Customers should contact their Sophos partner or sales representative.
In addition to the options mentioned above, some products have in-product feedback capabilities to capture comments and requests directly in the product itself. This is the case for Sophos Firewall, for example.
We plan to add this information on the Sophos Community and have added a message to ideas.sophos.com to show that the portal is being retired.
