Sophos Accreditations
Our cybersecurity accreditations demonstrate your area of expertise. They help you stand out from the competition when customers are selecting a partner to trust. Accredited partners gain preferred treatment for early product launch enablement and notifications, lead referrals, and marketing engagement initiatives.

NEW: Sophos Platform Accreditation
Sophos Platform accredited partners demonstrate deep knowledge across the Sophos adaptive cybersecurity ecosystem. Now expanded to the Sophos platform, this accreditation follows the same certification path as our previous Synchronized Security accreditation.
Partners holding an active Synchronized Security accreditation will automatically migrate to the new Sophos Platform accreditation.
Certification requirements:
- 1 x Sales SC01 Certification: Sales Fundamentals (SC01)
- 1 x Architect AT15 Certification: Central Endpoint and Server (AT15)
- 1 x Architect AT80 Certification: Sophos Firewall (AT80)
Accredited partners can download their new badge from the partner portal.
NEW: Sophos MDR Accreditation
Sophos MDR accredited partners demonstrate their deep expertise and commitment as trusted advisors for detection and response services, providing advanced threat detection, response, and cybersecurity guidance to customers.
Certification requirements:
- 2 x Sales SC02 Certification: Selling MDR and Cybersecurity as a Service (SC02)
- 2 x Engineer ET12 Certification: Sophos Central Detection and Response (ET12)
Both certifications need to be completed by two separate individuals.

Sophos Endpoint and XDR Accreditation
Sophos Endpoint and XDR Accredited partners stand out as trusted cybersecurity advisors for our award-winning endpoint technologies.
Certification requirements:
- 1 x Sales SC01 Certification: Sales Fundamentals (SC01)
- 2 x Architect AT15 Certification: Central Endpoint and Server (AT15)
(completed by two separate individuals)

Sophos Firewall Accreditation
Sophos Firewall Accredited partners excel in network protection and add layers to protect customers and data.

Partner Program Compliance
Don’t forget: On March 31, 2025, we’ll be running new certification and revenue numbers as part of our yearly partner program compliance audit. Several certifications have recently expired – please recertify to ensure you’re prepared.
Tip: The simplest path to earning an Engineer certification is through the new Sophos Central Detection and Response (ET12) course, which also brings you close to obtaining the new MDR accreditation.
