We are announcing the global end of sale for all XGS Series Gen.1 desktop models. All remaining models will be sold for as long as stock lasts only and will be removed from all sales assets over the coming weeks.
To provide a single end-of-life date for all models, the post-EOS support phase will officially begin on September 30, 2025, and run for five years until the end of life on September 30, 2030.
This announcement does not change the previous end-of-sale announcements for some models, that have the same end-of-life date.

What to do now?
- Check your open quotes; you may need to replace the model you’ve quoted if it’s no longer available.
- Use the final quarter of the XGS refresh promos to upgrade your desktop customers to the Gen.2 models (all Gen.2 models are eligible for promo discounts).
- Check with your local distributor for the remaining stock status.
Lifecycle Milestone Definitions:
- End of sale (EOS) is the date when we stop selling the product or only sell as long as stock lasts.
- The Post-EOS Support Phase is the period when we no longer sell the product, but it is still fully supported. Towards the end of this phase, customers should plan their upgrade to a newer model.
- Final Renewal is the last opportunity to order renewal subscriptions. The standard final renewal is one year before the EOL date. However, in some cases, we may allow renewal SKUs to be purchased for slightly longer.
- End of life (EOL) is when product support ends. Customers should not use their product after the EOL.
