Sophos MDR and Sophos XDR: Veeam integration live
Our new partnership with Veeam, a market leader in backup and recovery, supports our vision of enabling organizations to achieve superior outcomes through a holistic, integrated approach to cybersecurity. Using our new Veeam integration, Sophos MDR analysts and Sophos XDR users can leverage valuable telemetry from their Veeam Backup and Replication solution to accelerate threat detection and response, helping stop adversaries before they can deploy their attack. Sophos MDR and Sophos XDR: Google Workspace integration live
Organizations with distributed workforces are increasingly reliant on cloud-based productivity platforms like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) for email, file sharing, and collaboration. Our new integration collects security data and telemetry from the Google Workspace productivity suite, giving Sophos MDR analysts and Sophos XDR users better visibility to detect and stop threats. Sophos MDR and Sophos XDR: First Platform Detections now live
Platform Detections is a new high-fidelity detection type that further extends our (already outstanding) ability to identify malicious activity by enabling comprehensive correlative analysis of all telemetry and detection data stored in the Sophos Data Lake. Nine Platform Detections are currently live with six more ready for production testing, and more on the way.
Sophos Email: Enhancing admin efficiency and control
Sophos Email secures over 20,000 customers from advanced email-based attacks. Our latest customer-focused enhancements continue our mission to deliver the best email solution for stretched IT teams:
- Granular Search in Data Control. Admins can now define and/or limit the Search function to various parts of an email (e.g., body text, subject, attachment name, attachment content), enhancing efficiency and control.
- WhatFix Integration with Assisted Workflows. Step-by-step guidance for configuration tasks speeds up day-to-day management activities and helps customers make sure they have optimized settings
Sophos NDR Now Available on AWS
Customers with a licensed integration pack can now deploy Sophos NDR in AWS using Amazon Machine Image (AMI). This provides access to cloud-native security monitoring, scalability, and real-time threat detection and response. There’s also a breakdown of how this pre-configured virtual machine image operates. Sophos Firewall: Security Posture Assessment report available in Sophos Central
This customizable report provides a management-level overview of firewall protection activity, making it an excellent tool to demonstrate the value and protection Sophos Firewall delivers. It includes an inventory report that provides a snapshot of the organization’s managed firewall inventory, health status, and license details. More info.
