XGS 4300, XGS 4500, XGS 5500, XGS 6500: 

The high-end 1U and 2U XGS Series hardware appliances are now available to order in some regions.

New license bundles for XG Series hardware, virtual and software-only deployments

The new Standard and Xstream Protection licensing bundles will be available to quote and order from July 1, 2021.

  • The new SKUs are included in the 2021-2.0 price list. 
  • We will keep you informed of any changes to the order date via the Partner News blog. 

License Migration for existing XG Series hardware, virtual and software-only customers

As part of the ongoing transition to the new licensing scheme for Sophos Firewall, existing customers with any the following SKUs will be migrated to the new scheme: 

  • TotalProtect 
  • TotalProtect Plus 
  • EnterpriseProtect 
  • EnterpriseProtect Plus 
  • FullGuard 
  • FullGuard Plus 
  • EnterpriseGuard 
  • EnterpriseGuard Plus 
  • Enhanced Plus Support 

Full details of the migration path will be communicated to partners and customers by email or via the local Sophos sales team from June 7, 2021. A Partner News post will be published in the w/c June 7, 2021, and details are also included in the SophSkills recording and What’s New video for the XGS Series launch which are available on the Partner Portal.

End of Sale for Central Endpoint Protection and Central Server Protection

From July 1, 2021, Central Endpoint Protection (CEP) and Central Server Protection (SVRC) sales will be limited to renewals only (no new sales). On the same date we are introducing Central Intercept X Essentials (CIXE) and Central Intercept X Essentials for Server (SVRCIXE) as alternative protection options.

Product End of Life (EoL) Migration Path
Prior Sophos (XG) Firewall License bundles 
 July 30th 2021 As part of the ongoing transition to the new Sophos Firewall licensing scheme, the following license SKUs have a final order date of July 30, 2021: 

  • TotalProtect 
  • TotalProtect Plus 
  • EnterpriseProtect 
  • EnterpriseProtect Plus 
  • FullGuard 
  • FullGuard Plus 
  • EnterpriseGuard 
  • EnterpriseGuard Plus 
  • Enhanced Plus Support 
  • In the future, please order an Enhanced to Enhanced Plus Upgrade 

Individual subscriptions are not affected, with the exception of Sandstorm Protection which has been renamed to Zero-Day Protection to reflect the enhanced threat intelligence features in SFOS. 

These changes are valid in combination with Sophos Firewall (SFOS) only and do not apply to Sophos UTM.
